League of Legends can be a tough game to keep up in. What with patches being released every two weeks, it can be hard to keep track of personal stats, win rates, the best builds, new content, patch notes, and pro players. So, I’m going to tell you all about the best ways to keep track of all this.

OP.GG

OP.GG is a handy tool for any League of Legends player. It has a few major functions. First is the fact that it allows you to view your match history (with stats!). Why is this important? Doesn’t the client offer the same feature? Well let me tell you why this is important. OP.GG allows you to see your stats with all your champions in any queue you select (for a limited time before it disappears due to limitations with Riot’s API), and ranked stats for any season that you’ve played League (no limitations on this one, this is permanent). So if you want to see how your win rate and KDA on Yasuo are now compared to last season, then OP.GG is the perfect website for you.

OP.GG also gives the easiest-to-use UI for following pro players, viewing their match history and seeing what they build. It allows you to browse by team to enable you to find any pro player you might want to follow, and shows you their name for professional play as well as the one they use in regular games. As an example, Darshan and OmarGod can be found in the Counter Logic Gaming section, because that is the team they both play for.

OP.GG does have a few other features. The most prominent of these other features is the ‘Champions’ tab which allows you to view stats for each champion based on position, pick rates and win rates. However, it is not as up-to-date and in-depth as U.GG.

U.GG

U.GG is kind of like the ‘guy she tells you not to worry about’ for the ‘Champions’ tab of OP.GG. It has a lot more sorting options and goes more in-depth with its statistics, build paths, rune options, and counter options. So, while OP.GG can tell you what the overall best runes and builds are for Zoe, U.GG can tell you exactly what runes and build order to use if you’re in platinum+ as opposed to if you’re in bronze. Want to know who’s the best counter to Thresh in silver games? U.GG is the one you should go to.

What’s more, U.GG is updated live, while OP.GG is not. So if there is a really sudden meta shift and people start picking and finding success with Glacial Augment Ahri mid, then U.GG will have it sooner than OP.GG will.

Surrender at 20

Surrender at 20 is the perfect tool for staying up to date with any and all upcoming  and recently released content in League of Legends. They are the most up-to-date and accurate resource for keeping up with upcoming and new skins, game modes, nerfs and buffs. That’s about it. They’re incredibly reliable and active in the community and you should check them out.

Social media is a mean for people all over the world to communicate; communication with people around the world and knowledge about the world helps people to have a better understanding on the living situation and human rights in different countries which does not suit governments who want their people to be foolish so they can rule them easier.

Now I want to talk about social media in Iran specifically!

From the beginning, social media was not something that the dictatorships would like the improvement of it among their people, because they had less control over it compared to society.

In Iran, people are usually muzzled to talk about the corrupted economic situation which was directed toward the government. After the huge improvement social media and internet had in the 21st century, people started using social media as a mean to talk and write and publish their thoughts and anger towards the government!

A usage of social media in Iran has been revolutionary protists! As an example, I would like to name Facebook. After Iran’s tenth presidential election, which was held on June 12th, 2009, people were not satisfied with the result. The majority of the people were angry and believed that government had cheated. People did protist to show their anger which led to the government’s violent reaction. Thus, Facebook group chats became critical to plan the protists. It was the first time in Iran’s history that social media was used for such a serious manner. Actually, it wasn’t successful, but scared the government enough, to start the censorship of all the popular social media platforms among people. The censorship was not successful and did not stop people. This behavior of the government brought VPNs to application stores and made them so useful.

After Facebook, it was other platforms turn to be censored when they became popular. wechat, Viber and a lot of other platforms were censored in the past couple of years. Now the most common application among Iranians is Telegram. In February 2016 it was announced that telegram had 100 million users and more than 40 million users of this Russian app were Iranians. This application has been used for about 5 years and is so popular in Iran. No surprise, it was banned and censored starting last year, but this time people did not move to another app. Telegram is not an application that people use for fun, this application has provided a lot of people a good online job and a lot of people are working through it. Instagram is also so popular among teenagers and adults. Instagram has multiple usages as well. For teenagers, it has fun atmospheres and other people are working with it. Also, Instagram and Telegram have provided a good opportunity for talented people to show themselves and have been a good platform for them to publish their work. Since the users are a lot, people can be seen and shared so quickly. Instagram has been a good mean for talented users to introduce themselves faster, without any help from anyone. Social media in Iran is not just for fun; actually, due to the corrupted economy, people make a living with it. Besides Facebook, Telegram, Instagram, Viber, and wechat I would name twitter which is also used a lot. Twitter is also censored but it is even used by the government. The most popular Iranian twitter account is the Foreign minister of Islamic Republic of Iran’s account, Javad Zarif. When you go through most popular Iranian accounts on Instagram and Twitter you see government members on top, even the supreme leader of Iran has accounts on social media platforms that are censored; which is silly!

As the world begins to change everything is advancing whether its with medicine or technology but the most dramatic change is the internet! The internet is changing daily, nowadays everybody is turning towards the internet to hopefully solve their real life problems and that’s including trying to find their significant other. One of the most popular dating apps used today is “Tinder”, its a very simple app where you can swipe right if you find the person interesting or very attractive. Then you also have the choice to swipe left which is an easy way of saying no your not interested in the person. Tinder carries many amazing and unique individuals but for the amount of good people on the app there’s also tons of weirdos and this is why i made a list of the top 5 people to stay away from on tinder!!

Keeping up with the Kardashians’ is harder than it looks. It’s a full time job to keep track of the pregnancies, the cheating, the beauty, the fashion, and so much more. But it only took such a short period of time for Kim to have been dethroned by the youngest of them all. Only at the age of 20, Kylie has become the new Kim.

This all started back in November 2015 when Kylie released her formerly named brand Kylie Lip Kits which started to kick off in 2016 when it became Kylie Cosmetics. Kylie Cosmetics was advertised on her Instagram account causing her to gain 20 million followers in the span of six months; today she has 118 million followers. Now her company has a net worth of 900 million dollars!

In a normal family the younger siblings try to copy the older ones, but we are dealing with a family that is nowhere close to normal. Kim decides to launch her own line KKW Beauty (Kim Kardashian West Beauty) a year after Kylie Cosmetics. Looks like Kim doesn’t know how to come up with ideas on her own. She had to steal them from her youngest sister.

For Kylie it didn’t stop there. Her account gradually got more popular and then peaked when she made a public announcement that got everyone talking…

It’s the pregnancy of the year! Out of 12 of the most liked photos on Instagram, Kylie’s pictures of little Stormi hold the top two spots and Kim is nowhere to be seen. This shouldn’t be a surprise because who doesn’t love baby pictures?! This is quite ironic since back in December 2015 Kylie said in an interview with Elle U.K. “Once I have a kid I’m not going to be on Instagram…You know, I’ll probably delete my Instagram and just…I don’t know, live life.” Obviously she has not deleted her Instagram and probably no longer has the intention to do so since most of what she posts includes her daughter. Everyone knows Kim has a growing family too but there’s a 17-year difference. People talk more when a 20 year old gets pregnant than when a 38 year old.

Kylie’s reign on social media doesn’t stop with Instagram. Three weeks after the birth of her child she tweets

She has so much influence on the Internet that because of one little tweet Snap lost 1.5 billion dollars in market value. She then tries to fix the damage too little too late by tweeting “still love you tho snap… my first love”. What’s been done cannot be undone, especially on the Internet. It’s insane how influential Kylie is to the world. Everything she does or says, good or bad, holds meaning and will make her 25 million Twitter followers want to follow her trend.

Kim may have the 120 million followers on Instagram, the 59.3 million followers on Twitter and the 8-9 million views on her snap story but Kylie has the fame. I think it’s safe to say that Kylie rightfully earned her crown. Sorry Kim.

YouTube is a video sharing service where people post and watch videos about all sorts of different subjects. YouTube has taken over TV on the new generation. YouTube has become one of the most known platforms all over the world. People get to create a bunch of videos and gain a following, allowing them to make videos as a career. These YouTubers are a few of my favorites to watch:

1: Shane Dawson

Shane Lee Yaw, known as Shane Dawson is an American youtuber, vlogger. He was one of the first youtubers who started a career through YouTube back in 2008. His first youtube channel was ShaneDawsonTV, where he played multiple characters in making short skits and films. He uses his shyness, insecurities and introverted qualities and makes them into fun, relatable videos. In the past year, he became one of the most talked about youtubers, from his conspiracy videos and documentary series on controversial people and topics like TanaCon, Jeffrey Star and recently, Jake Paul. Shane now has a total of almost 19 million subscribers on his channel and recently won creator of the year at the streamy awards.

2: David Dobrik

David Dobrik is a youtube vlogger from Chicago, born in Slovakia. He first started making videos on the video app named “Vine” for fun and gained a following of 1.3 million. After Vine got shut down, he started his career on youtube. David started a group of former viners, who are now all best friends and are called the “Vlog Squad”. David posts 4 minute and 20 second vlogs 3 times a week full of action, drama and fun. David Dobrik now has a total of 9.5 million subscribers on youtube.

3: Zoella 

Zoe Elizabeth Sugg is a beauty guru and blogger from the United Kingdom. Zoella started her career by creating a blog that gained 540 million visits. She then began her youtube channel in 2009, which gained a huge following of female fans as her videos revolve around fashion, beauty and lifestyle. Since then, she launched beauty products and best-selling book about her. Zoella also met her boyfriend Alfie Deyes from youtube and have been together since 2014. Zoella now has a total of 11 million subscribers.

4: The ACE Family

Austin McBroom and Catherine Paiz are a youtube married couple. They first started by posting the pranks they would play on each other on youtube and began to develop a following. They soon after had their daughter Elle and created the name “Ace Family”. They upload videos about family life, pranks and challenges. They recently gave birth to their second girl, Alaïa. The ACE Family now have 13 million subscribers.

These YouTubers all have been very successful and are doing YouTube as their full-time jobs. They are some of the best out there on the platform because they are all relatable, entertaining and give something different and unique through their videos. They all have their own style and stick to it. Go watch all these YouTubers on YouTube! You will not regret it!

Celebrities like singers or actors like Sabrina carpenter and a korean idol Kim yongguk. Not only them but it’s to say that you can follow a lot of celebrities other than them and it can allow you to like and comment on photos or even tag any of your friends. A picture can tell a story behind it, why did you take it ? Where did you take it? What’s the reason behind it? Always use the search button of whoever you would love to follow , more precisely it can give you a lot of page suggestions you can follow !

#Instagram is very popular nowadays, and people find it very easy to access their cameras , filters and follow other users. Oh Vine, who doesn’t miss your beautiful video loops of peak meme culture crammed into six wonderful seconds for our viewing pleasure. It was great to open the app and know that you will not only be laughing hysterically, but you know that you won’t have to watch a whole 30 minutes of a Netflix comedy special to get to the punchline. Vine provided hilarious bite-sized pieces of easily digestible comedy videos that you can quickly share with your friends and get an instant laugh. I mean what’s more magical than scrolling the animal page for hours until you’ve seen every cat, dog, or chicken  ever. It was perfect. Until… Twitter had to come and buy Vine for 30$ million. Let’s walk down memory lane and look at 6 of the most memorable vines that continue to transcend time.

1.“I’m washing me and my clothes”

Okay so you come home from a night out. It’s late, the room is spinning, and you still have to do laundry AND take care of personal hygiene. Why not hit two birds with one stone, and just do both at the same time? That’s what any logical person would do.

This kid has created a trend so powerful, everything is doing it. Heck as I’m writing this my ears are getting some fresh air outside of the confinements of my suffocating hoodie. I think that he might be onto something.

So is Vine really as dead as we thought? Am I saying that the comeback of Vine is even more iconic that when it first came out? I don’t know. But what do I know is that the millions of views that vine compilation videos on YouTube and the uproar for a “Vine 2” must mean something. Also two students from Temple University in Philadelphia decided to create a whole book called “Milk and Vine” that includes everybody’s favourite vines based on Rupi Kaur’s “Milk and Honey” poetry book. So if it’s obvious that there’s still a strong interest and even a market for Vine, in my opinion I have a good feeling we will be seeing a resurgence of Vine pretty soon.

He will melt your heart.

Tuna is an 8-year old Chiweenie.

Due to his charming overbite, Tuna’s owner rescued him at a farmer’s market in LA.

His owner created him an Instagram account after a year-long friendship. Eventually, people found their way on his account and started gaining loyal fans around the world. 

On top of that, Tuna is an ambassador for animal rescue. How cool is that? As part of his campaign, he also tours everywhere.  Maybe you could meet him somewhere and recognize the unique overbite.

Maru is a 10-year old Shiba Inu living in Japan.

He likes spending his time sleeping. His fluffy appearance makes his followers want to hug and cuddle him.

He just needs to smile and pose for a picture to capture the heart of his followers.

Maru is considered the happy pill of most Japanese people.  

Shinjiro Ono’s goal when he posted Maru’s pictures in 2011 was to brighten people’s lives despite the deadly earthquake that happened. People responded by asking for more pictures.

Five years later, he is now a superstar in Instagram and is featured on Japan’s magazines, commercials, and others.

Even dogs can be a fashion icon too.

Doug appears stylish in his posts, mostly dressed up in cute outfits and shows some swag.

He helps CEOS to promote their products with his charisma.

He even showed up in Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” music video and ads for Target and Banana Republic. Way to go Jiff!
